Early this summer, I was introduced to a FABULOUS iPhone game called SongPop! I have been addicted all summer. The idea of the game is to listen to a snippet of a song and very quickly guess either the artist name or song title. Now, I have been playing this game with anyone in the car with me (especially on road trips) for YEARS! My game involved changing the radio station multiple times and keeping up with points for guessing -- one point for correctly guessing a song title, two points for artist.
I consider myself quite the filing cabinet of useless information. I am very good at this game! So I was THRILLED beyond anything when I found the game this summer. I have 16 people that I play with regularly. In the beginning I was really good! My years of practice in the car have given me an edge over my competition. Lately, everyone is beating me. Everyone else is getting better!
And everyone is out of time to play. I have a lot of teacher friends, and they have all gone back to school. Only I am still sitting at home, recovering from surgery. More on that later!
So I guess my SongPop Summer is coming to an end. I'm having trouble winning the tournament each week with so few opponents. Unless someone wants to start a game with me...
